Mad Casino game contribution rates

Not every euro you stake reduces the wagering requirement by a euro. Each game type has a contribution rate, and the gap between the highest and lowest rate is a factor of twenty.

The rates, as advertised

The effect, in euros

Take a €50 bonus with €1,500 of wagering. Clearing it on slots means staking €1,500. Clearing it on general live tables means staking €15,000. Clearing it on live blackjack means staking €30,000 — sixty times the size of the original bonus — and with a €10 maximum per hand that is at least 3,000 hands.

That is why a bonus suits some players far better than others. For someone who only plays live blackjack, the welcome stack is close to impossible to clear in its 30-day window.

Why table games count less

The reason is the house edge. Blackjack played with sound basic strategy and baccarat on the banker bet both carry an edge of roughly 1% or a little more. A typical slot carries 3–5%. If both counted at 100%, a player could clear wagering on blackjack while losing very little, and the bonus would cost the casino more than it was priced at. Weighting brings the expected cost of clearing back into line across game types.

Excluded titles

Mad Casino states that a list of high-RTP and jackpot slots is excluded from wagering. A slot on that list contributes 0% even though slots in general contribute 100%. The list is published with the bonus terms and is updated periodically, so check it at the time you play rather than relying on a list you saw months ago — including any list on this site.

The practical upshot

• If you play mostly slots, the 100% rate means wagering progresses at face value.
• If you play mostly live tables, compare the bonus to the 20% cashback, which pays in cash on any game type.
• If you mostly bet on sport, the welcome stack's wagering cannot be cleared with sports stakes at all.
