Mad Casino UK Explained

Editorial policy

This policy sets out how pages on madcasinouk.org.uk are written, checked, updated and corrected. It applies to every explainer, the FAQ and the glossary.

Independence

Mad Casino does not see, approve or edit our content before publication. Commercial arrangements — described in the affiliate disclosure — are handled separately from editorial decisions, and no page is written to a brief from the operator.

Scope

We explain mechanisms rather than recommend actions. Where a rule has a cost, such as the wagering on a bonus or the cap on cashback, we show the cost in numbers. We do not tell readers to gamble, and we avoid language suggesting that gambling is a way to earn money.

How pages are written

  1. A single mechanism is chosen for each page.
  2. The operator's current terms are read in full and the relevant clauses recorded.
  3. Worked examples are calculated independently and checked twice.
  4. The draft is checked against the content standards and the fact-checking policy.
  5. The page is published with a “last checked” date.

Updates

Bonus terms change. We recheck figures on every explainer at least monthly, and immediately when a reader reports a discrepancy. When a figure changes, the page is updated and the date refreshed.

Corrections

Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed. Where a correction changes the meaning of a page — for example, a wagering multiple or a cap — we add a short note at the foot of the page saying what changed and when.

Use of tools

Spelling and grammar tools may be used. Figures, examples and conclusions are produced and checked by the named author.

Complaints about our content

If you believe a page is unfair, misleading or inaccurate, email [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within three working days and aim to resolve them within ten. Where we disagree, we explain why and point to the source we relied on.
